These executive committees are the delegation of the 9th Asian Association For Sport Management Conference which will be held at Berjaya Times Square from 27 – 28 June 2013.
Hutan Kita Programme In Conjunction With The 9th Asian Association For Sport Management Conference aims to acknowledge Malaysia’s commitment on the issue of preserving and conserving natural rainforest. This also will incite the importance of a healthy environment for sports development to the executive committee.
Hutan Kita is one of the programmes by Landskap Malaysia in which the community will plant rainforest trees together and reinforce a sense of belonging to nature. This program was started in 2009 with Huta Kita @ Kiara and has grown to include schools, hospitals, parks, universities and mangrove forests. To date, Landskap Malaysia has planted 39, 581 rainforest trees around Malaysia and the number will continue to grow as we add to the list with Hutan Kita programmes throughout 2013.
